Well this weekend was Easter (yay eggs), and I went out to Nikki and Daylin's grandma's house for lasagna. Just go with it, this family has done way wierder shit than that. Well Daylin's father goes outside to "hide" easter eggs for my daughter, Jaimie, and Daylin's niece. By "hide" I mean Day and I are pretty sure he took the bag out there and threw it in the air. Jaimie and her cousin start looking for eggs while Daylin and I do the usual ignore and talk WoW thing. I'm half-ass watching my little girl pick up eggs for about 5 min when I realize that what she is doing is watching Addelline, who is a year younger, and then chasing down any eggs that she happens to find. She doesn't bother to look for the eggs herself, not that they we're well-hidden anyways, instead she goes and grabs whichever one Addie sees so that she doesn't have to work. Now here is the issue with the whole thing. Aside from Jaimie being a spoiled brat like that regardless, it actually amused me to see her ninja her cousin's eggs because it's the exact kind of thing I could see her mother, Nikki, doing. It all just amuses me and makes me feel way more inmature and silly which is a good thing, but part of me feels bad for Addie. Not much, but part.

hahaha! We went to my husband's grandma's for Easter and my husband wouldn't even let me bring the eggs to hide because it would be too much a production if the whole family were there. But my little one was home for Easter and my step daughter was not and won't be home until Friday. So now every once in a while I see the 2 year old ninja a jelly bean out of her sister's basket when she thinks no one is looking. She has some left in her own basket but has been going after her sister's. I have not interfered either. lol. It's a bunny eat bunny world out there.
