how to fight Rogues as a druid.
ok so heres the short version. against a Rogue to have a winning outcome a few things must be true.
you must not be low on mana.
you must not be alone.
you have just about two options. if you have a full bar of mana and you are alone... then you can fight it out and win... jump into bear form after casting HoT.. cause we HATE THAT!!!!! ZOMFG!!! reason why? you druid armor buff from bear form can result in you having higher armor than a warrior or paladin. the reason for this is you cant stack defense rating as easily (proud of me Mc?) but it means that you have the best possibility for damage reduction in pvp. and we simply don't have the damage to outrace your resto dots while your in bear form.
also dont be afraid to use travel form... the only way we can catch you if you start runnin like that is to pop sprint (a 5min CD) or to use deadly throw and pray we can get there to put crippling poison on b4 u run away again.
a combo if you have full mana that works. Moonfire. root.
moonfire, full hots, bear... bash (or whatever that bearform stun if called) pop into travel form, book it... pop out, root. moonfire wrathspam.... hots bear, repeat.
if you dont have full mana but your not alone, do the same as above (without the wraths, and only one mooonfire to keep the dots up.... and less roots, only use them to keep him off you not to force him to stay open for dmg.) but kite his ass into others, let your teammates kill him cause if you heal while they kill him, hk's 4 u.
as a rogue were stalkers and hunters, we like to gank and kill one at a time quickly, if we see you go into cheetah were like "oh no you didnt bitch! you aint getting away from me!!" (ask T i bet he'll tell u that too) so use the natural instincts of a rogue to kite him thru sum1's consecrate... or find where the action is and go there... if you need to loose him rly bad, keep running till ur outa combat and go catform and stealth. but careful that only works if ur far away... alot a rogues have hightend sences now which help with stealth detect... so just dont stand still, and if u see him in stealth he see's you so pounce and run, moonfire... and so on.
we'll duel a few times till you get it, but your primary focus shouldn't be killing him... just surviving... remember he has to use mat to heal and then only 3k health at max... only a setback, you can get a full bar while he kicks and screams about druid OP... ;p that and ur white dmg will eventuyaly kill him... every time you have enough time to moonfire without getting hit, or wrath or root.... consider that a punch in the face... just remember unless you gank a clothie in cat form you fights will be long, so crack ur knuckles when u have time.
